Memphis Meats, is arguably the most famous cell based meat company in part because of notable investors including Bill Gates and Richard Branson. Memphis Meats has successfully cultivated and harvested cell based beef, chicken, and duck inside of bioreactors. The company expects to get the costs down and have the product in stores by 2021.
